To the Area Teaching Committees in the Southeast Region

Dear Friends,

On behalf of the Regional Training Institute, we are sharing with you information about an upcoming Youth Camp to be held February 16-19, 2024.

The camp will begin Friday morning February 16th at 8:30am and end on Monday the 19th at 4:00 pm. As with previous camps, the expectation is that participants will attend the full camp beginning Friday morning at 8:30 am until its close on Monday, February 19th.

The registration deadline for the youth camp participants is February 12th. Please share this registration form with all potential participants: REGISTRATION FORM

The Regional Training Institute covers the majority of the cost of the camps. Each participant is asked to contribute a remaining fee of $25. Local Spiritual Assemblies are encouraged to assist those youth who are unable to cover this fee. Details of how to submit payment will be shared upon registration.

Parents or guardians of youth who are under the age of 18 before the camp begins must complete the  Youth Camp permission form. You can email the completed permission form to: slombard@rtise.org

Dates for additional youth camps that are scheduled for spring break, summer, and Labor Day can be found at: (https://rbcse.org/youth-camps-2/)

We are also sharing (attached) a document from the Regional Training Institute that describes what the region is learning about conversations with you and their families before and following the camps. These ongoing conversations help ensure that the youth and their families understand the nature of the camps and that youth are accompanied to find a path of service in their home communities.

For any questions, please reach out to the Regional Training Institute at board@rtise.org

With loving regards,

REGIONAL BAHÁ’Í COUNCIL OF THE SOUTHEASTERN STATES
